Mavs Greek Restaurant

The service is fantastic, real people with kind hearts that know their menu well. The food is absolutely divine! I've been going to Mav's for over 3 years now, and there is not 1 thing I have not enjoyed off their menu. Their food is consistently excellent and mouth watering. They certainly are award winners for a reason, and if you are in the area, this is not a restaurant you want to miss out on. Mav's is a must try. I recommend booking so you don't miss out and don't hesitate to ask for recommendations from their very helpful staff.

Was not greeted with a hi or smile from who I assume was the owner. We ordered an entree sharing plate, lamb gyros open plate and a dessert which was around $60-70. The entree plate was average and only good thing was the meat balls that were juicy and flavorful. The gyros plate had dry, chewy and unseasoned lamb. The Greek salad has no olives, no feta, no olive oil, no lemon juice or herbs but instead literally had leaf mix which I’m pretty sure is not authentic Greek food. They seem to have consistent reviews complaining that their meat is dry and have done nothing to rectify the issue as now they’re able to flaunt their awards for customers. SAVE YOUR MONEY - go to the local pub instead

AMAZING ,the best Greek food I have ever had ,5☆on every aspect of my experience dinning here at MAVS GREEK RESTAURANT upon arrival we were greeted by the owner and staff who allocated us to out seating very friendly , we were then explained what each dish was at this was our first time dining here., Highly recommend to all who want to try something authentic. We had the Premium seafood & meat banquet. Seafood was cooked to perfection ,the meat lamb,chicken was amazing, desserts that came with it were loukmadas, also tried other desserts they were delicious, again highly recommended 👌🏽 The most pleasant thing about the dining experience was the customer service topped off with amazing food. The staff catered to you and made for a wonderful experience. The vibe was very relaxed with a very much family vibe. Great spot for friends to catch up on a night out or somewhere chill for the family . We will definitely be back . Thank you for a wonderful night.

Overall an excellent experience. Apart from the chicken dish (the one with stuffed prawns and scallop) other items were great. Yummy dips with bread. Lamb shoulder is highly recommended, so is the mixed grill platter for two. Other items were good too including the calamari. Fast and good service. Staff are friendly and overall a great experience. A place I would recommend.

Amazing food- prawns, calamari, octopus, lamb, lemon potatoes, galaktoboureko, affogato, Greek coffee, etc… Great wine list too. We absolutely loved your choice of Prosecco - Swan Bay from Scotchmanshill Winery. We had an amazing service too! Thank you very much for a great Greek feast we had in your restaurant. Absolutely horrendous food, we ordered a Fillets Kotas, described as a roast chicken breast filled with prawns and scallops on a bed of potatoes, there was only half a potato and the meat was boiled, had no flavour whatsoever, we asked the owners about the meat being boiled and he didn't accept it he only worried about the money. We finished at McDonald's because the food was inedible.
